Bumblebee Jasper (sometimes called Eclipse Jasper): is a rare and striking banded stone discovered in the 1990’s inside of volcanic vents in Java, Indonesia. It is not a ‘true’ jasper, as it does not contain Quartz, but rather a radially grown fibrous Calcite made up of a wide variety of minerals. Forty elements have been identified in its composition. This makes it a powerful healer as it can bring so many elements in the human body into balance.  Some of the power stones that give Bumblebee its dominant colours, black, orange and yellow, are Pyrite, Orpiment, Realgar and Sulfur.
